Lucky Supermarket Extends Humanitarian Support to Border Conflict Victims
Phnom Penh, Cambodia – 30 July 2025 – In response to the humanitarian crisis caused by the recent conflict along the Thailand-Cambodia border, Lucky Supermarket has extended urgent support to displaced communities by donating essential goods valued at 111 million riels.
With over ten thousand individuals forced to flee their homes, the need for food, hygiene, and daily essentials has grown critical. Lucky Supermarket responded swiftly, partnering with the Union Youth Federation of Cambodia (UYFC) to ensure aid reached affected families.
The donated items included:
Meat sausages (pork and beef)
Fresh eggs
Guardian shower and bath gel
Meadows-brand snacks
This relief initiative underscores Lucky Supermarket’s deep-rooted commitment to social responsibility, particularly during times of national hardship.
"We stand in solidarity with those affected by this crisis. As a long-standing member of the Cambodian community, we believe it is our duty to contribute meaningful support where it's needed most," said a spokesperson for Lucky Supermarket.
The donation was coordinated in close collaboration with UYFC, whose on-the-ground efforts have been instrumental in distributing aid quickly and effectively to impacted areas.
